I have a long awaited date with a Wizard. So consider me on vacation. While I dream of a beachfront bungaloo, I'll settle for a long weekend at home reading COLD DAYS the 14th book in Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files series and reaquainting my family with my presence since I've virtually abandoned them this month.
To everyone who is still NaNoWriMoing... V live long and prosper.
I'll be back with regular blog posts once I decompress. I still have an amazing story to finish so stay tuned for more FIXED updates.
Thanks for following me on my journey.
Yay, Angie! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThank you. This is my third year participating and the first time I've won.
DeleteCongratulations on meeting the word count! And happy decompressing. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteYeah, decompressing = not so easy.
DeleteI found myself sucked back in yesterday. Saturday, the day I was supposed to start reading all of the books I've bought, but haven't had time to crack open. I guess I'll let the story be in control. My muse never listens to me anyway.
Congrats on hitting your 50K! I was only 4k short, so I'm quite happy with that. I now hope to get the complete first draft of this novel written by Christmas. Might take a few days off this weekend though. Hope you enjoy your break!
ReplyDelete46k is a prodigious amount of story. What I think is important is whether you had fun and want to continue writing your book now that NaNo is over. I'm glad to hear that you did and will. May the muse be with you!
DeleteI had so much fun and I love the book I'm working on! I'm so glad I decided to take part this year! : D
DeleteCongrats! I'm sure the sequel to JuJu will be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIt's an amazing experience being able to reconnect with these characters. I had forgotten how much I love them.
DeleteI am so excited that you not only reached 50k, but stretched beyond! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Blakely. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can keep the momentum going. So far, the story is staying on course.
